At CASS, we aim to support each other so that, as a community, we may grow spiritually towards the love of our Heavenly Father. Throughout the year, we hold regular and non-regular spiritual activities to help us achieve this aim; this section introduces you to some of these...

Bible Sharing~ Each of our 5 branches @ the University of New South Wales, Sydney Univeristy, University of Technology Sydney, Macquarie University and Cantonese Bible Sharing, all hold bible sharings. The universities generally hold 2-3 a week, and CBS holds one every 2 weeks.

Community Service~ CASS members are invited to volunteer to participate in community service events, such as nursing home visits, which happen every 3rd Sunday of the month. CASS also is looking at helping in soup kitchens.

Spiritual Workshops~Over the course of a year CASS holds several spiritual workshops. These workshops are used to increase our understanding of our faith and the basic principles behind it. Discussion is encouraged as it is an open forum type of atmosphere.

Events with sprituality componements~ Some of the events CASS organises will have a spirituality component for example:

Pray and Play- Praise and Worship combined with Mass, and fun noveltiesre

Retreat- Action packed 3 days, full of fun, faith, and friendship. Includes Praise and Worship, Mass, Reconcilation, Drama, and team building activites.

Pool Praise- Pool competition combined with Praise and Worshiptmad

TMAD- Mass to thank God for everything he has blessed us with during the year, combined with Annual Dinner to showcase CASS's talent.

End of Semester Mass- Most branches will organise an end of semester mass, to pray mostly for final exams.

Written by our own members and compiled by our hardworking Spiritual Team during the summer holidays, the CASS Bible Sharing materials are provided for you here so you can do some reading and independent research before coming to our weekly Bible Sharing sessions. And that we strongly encourage you to do, as it really does make the sharing that much more enriching and meaningful for everyone!
